PURR by Libby is a private, one-chair hair studio in Fitzroy, Melbourne. I created this space as a calm, unhurried alternative to busy traditional salons—somewhere you can completely relax and get hair that genuinely reflects who you are.
PURR is a proudly LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, and BIPOC-safe space. My approach is simple: come exactly as you are. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to hair. Whether you love lived-in, authentic, natural beauty or want something highly creative and individualistic, everything I do is specifically tailored to you.
The studio is designed as a private, low-sensory environment featuring full climate control, dimmable lights, an air purifier for soothing white noise, optional music, and a privacy curtain on the door. Whether you need a completely silent appointment to decompress, or you want to dive deep into a chat about history, politics, and the arts, you are safe, respected, and welcome here.
