Cottage Respite, which is also known as overnight community respite, provides overnight care delivered in a cottage-style respite facility that is home-like environment for short term to frail older people with low care needs. You will either have access to a room on your own or a shared room. Bed linen, blankets wardrobe, bedside table, alarm clock and heater are provided. Cottage Respite is a Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) that supports and maintains care relationships through planned respite care for frail older people so that carers can take a break from their usual caring responsibilities.
